Ann & Mike welcome you to their working farm which is in the picturesque village of Maltby-le-Marsh on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, situated only three miles from the coast and the lively seaside town of Mablethorpe.

Stable Block

Established 25 years ago, our farmhouse bed & breakfast provides visitors to Lincolnshire with a relaxing and peaceful hideaway yet a convenient base for visiting historic local towns and attractions.

Location

Our farm is within easy walking distance of the village shop, local pubs, fishing lakes and 9-hole golf course so you won't be stuck for things to do, should you decide not to venture far. We can recommend plenty of good local restaurants and pubs.

The sandy beaches of Mablethorpe are only 3 miles away, or should you wish for more adventure such as a day at Skegness Butlins or Fantasy Island, then a 30 minute car ride is all it takes, as does a visit to the Cadwell park racing circuit and the Manby Motorplex. Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre - home of 'Just Jane' Lancaster is also a half hour car ride away.

The quiet village of Maltby-le-Marsh is a short drive from the market towns of Alford and Louth. The historic city of Lincoln has a castle and cathedral and is only a forty minute drive away. There are numerous golf courses in the area available to non-members. The area is full of fun and interesting places to visit such as Mablethorpe with its sandy beaches and animal gardens. Cadwell Park racing circuit, Hubpards Hills at Louth, the antique centres at Horncastle or simply enjoy walking in the Wolds.

For the children: We have free-range chickens and chicks which need feeding and there are always eggs to find and collect. Children can also feed our ornamental fish in their pond. We also have 2 minature shetland ponies Paddy and Masie , cattle, budgies and dogs, including Emm the sheepdog, who is the children's best playmate.

The large gardens allow you to relax and enjoy the fabulous sunsets.

Fishing: Our lake provides superb fishing, and is stocked with many fish, such as carp, tench, rudd and roach which is free of charge and available only to residents.

Dogs: Well behaved dogs are welcome to join you in our stable block accommodation. £4/night/dog. We have plenty of grounds for them to run around in and designated dog walking areas.

Accommodation & Food

Dining Room

There is a good choice of bedrooms at Grange Farm, all attractively furnished, well-equipped and comfortable. The stable accommodation consists of five bedrooms, three en-suite rooms and two rooms sharing a shower room. There are two twin-bedded rooms, each with their own wash hand basin, one double room with patio door and one room with a double and single bed with en suite facilities. Everyone has their own room key, allowing you to come and go as you please.

All rooms have a colour television tea- making facilities, hairdryer etc. are all within the stable block. In the farmhouse there are three luxury en-suite bedrooms, one a twin and the other a family room and a double bedroom with a full en-suite bathroom.

Full English Breakfast is served in the traditional farmhouse dining room, and comprises of unlimited fruit juices, cereals, toast, tea and coffee. A traditional farmhouse breakfast including local Lincolnshire sausages is also included in the price.
